What's New for 2025?
- Drivers and Constructors Championship 2025 Season Starts April 12
- There will be 5 races with 1 Throwout
- 35 Points awarded for the WIN, with descending numbers incrementally by 1
- There will be a Drivers Championship as well as a Constructors Championship, with both drivers’ points combined.
- It is permissible to compete as “Independent” for the Drivers Championship only
- RCFIA mandates that for the Constructors Championship, (2) Drivers make a Team (ANY skill level)
- Knock Out Qualifying – Staggered starts for both Rounds of Qualifying
- At the conclusion of Round 2 of Qualifying, the TOP 10 cars will be broken out to compete for the FASTEST single lap
- In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker will go to the driver that set it first (Spain 1997)
- At the conclusion of Round 2 of Qualifying, the TOP 10 cars will be broken out to compete for the FASTEST single lap
- Practice – there will be FP1 and FP2
- Each Free Practice session will be 15-minutes of Formula 1 only
- RCFIA Spec Tires required – Team Powers Soft/Medium/Hard
